James Bond watches. All the watches of the movies and novels.

This is the complete list of watches used by agent James Bond, agent 007, in his novels and in all his films to date.
Regarding Ian Fleming's novels, he presented Bond simply with a Rolex, until in the novel "In His Majesty's Secret Service" he was more specific and dressed his character with a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, a detail that would later influence the cinema. It should be clarified that Fleming was a user of the brand usually wearing a Rolex Explorer.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual
(Click on the photos to see them better)

This watch is descended from the original Oyster born in 1926, which was the first hermetic wristwatch in the world. It is considered a cornerstone in the history of Rolex.

Dr. No (1962)
- Agent 007 against Dr. No (E)
- 007: The Satanic Dr. No (H)

Watches:
Gruen Precision 510

A perfect example of a dress watch. The brand of German origin Gruen, but riding Swiss machinery, created this piece of great beauty. It has 34 mm, gold case and a mechanical caliber of 17 jewels. This is the watch that actor Sean Connery wears when he first pronounces the phrase "Bond, James Bond".

Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual 6538

The Submariner was not the first dive watch but I doubt there is any of this most famous type. Clock with caliber 1030 c, 37 mm and still without cyclops.

From Russia With Love (1963)

- From Russia with love (E)
- 007: From Russia with love (H)

Watches:
Gruen Precision 510

Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual 6538

Note; In the movie the watch is wearing a black leather strap.

 Goldfinger (1964)

- James Bond vs. Goldfinger (E)
- 007 Gold Fingers (H)

Watches:
Gruen Precision 510

Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual 6538

Note: The color of the original NATO strap that was used in the film (and that was narrow) was this:

"James Bond vs. Goldfinger" frame. from EON Productions.

Thunderball (1965)

- Operation Thunder (E)
- 007: Operation Thunder (H)

Watches:
Breitling Top Time 2002.3 / N

This was a 1962 Breitling Top Time with the box expressly modified for the movie by Valley Tool Company. The clock was a camouflaged geiger counter when measuring radio activity with the second hand. Actually it was just props and it is difficult to think how with the big box it would be possible to handle the push buttons.

Rolex Sumariner Oyster Perpetual 6538

You Only Live Twice (1 967)

- 007: You only live twice (E)
- 007: You only live twice (H)

Watches:
You can't see the clock. It can therefore be attributed to him that he would remain faithful to Gruen and Rolex, but that is already to be assumed.

Royal Casino. ( 1967)

- Casino Royale (E)
- Casino Royale (H)

Watch:
Rolex GMT Master 1675

For some, this version of "Casino Royale" is not a true James Bond movie because it was not made by EON Productions, but I do not consider it that way and David Niven made a great old Bond and Woody Allen a fun archivillano. Regarding the Niven watch is a Rolex GMT Master 1675 with "Pepsi" colors of 39 mm.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service. ( 1969)

- To the secret service of His Majesty (E)
- 007: In the service of His Majesty (H)

Watches:

Rolex Pre-Daytona Chronograph 6238.

A rolex chronograph with manual caliber Valjoux 72 and 36mm. The only chronograph that Bond has used in all his films. It differs from the following "Daytona" in that it had the internal stenographer, while Daytona will have it in the bezel.

Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual 5513

An update of the legendary Submariner. Still without the cyclops.

Diamonds Are Forever. ( 1971)

- Diamonds for eternity (E)
- 007: Diamonds are eternal (H)

Clocks;
Gruen Precision 510 (Note: the clock does not distinguish the film, but in the sources consulted the Gruen is attributed)

Live and Let Die. 1973

- Live and let die (E)
- 007: Live and let die (H)

Watches:
Hamilton Pulsar P2 / 2900 Astronaut

For some it was a betrayal to see Bond, here already interpreted by Roger Moore with a digital clock, but this Hamilton was no longer in his time and is considered the first digital wristwatch in history. He could only tell when his only button was pressed, but it was enough to impress.

Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual 5513

In this film, the inventor "Q" gave electro magnetic properties (to an automatic watch, it has its grace) if the dial was turned, putting the numbers in red. He also had the sharp bezel to be able to cut ropes with him, which would have been fatal to the cuffs of the shirts.

Tissot 516 Date Mak 1.

The only Tissot to date. Apparently this Diver was owned by Roger Moore and rolled with him until the Rolex was ready. It is common to see it in catalogs today named as the "Tissot Roger Moore".

Live and let die frame. EON Productions.

The Man with the Golden Gun. ( 1974)

- The man with the golden gun (E)
- 007: The man with the golden revolver (H)

Watches:
Submariner Oyster Perpetual 5513

Again the classic Submariner of the Swiss brand of British origin.

The Spy Who Loved Me. ( 1977)

- The spy who loved me (E)
- 007: The spy who loved me (H)

Watches:
Seiko LC Quartz DK001, 0674-5009

Many fans of mechanical watches saw it as a betrayal that equals Bond with a digital and quartz watch, but the horological world was in full "Quartz Revolution" and Seiko invested what she had to invest to get this advertising in the cinema . Either way, digital watches were very fashionable and this watch was not too surprised that in fiction it was capable of receiving telegrams.

Frame of "The Spy Who Loved Me" EON Productions.

 Moonraker (1979)

- Moonraker (E)
- 007: Space mission (H)

Watches:
Seiko Quartz LC Memory-Bank Calendar SFX003 / M354-5019

Typical seventies quartz watch but very complete for its time and not cheap. It stood out because it had a perpetual calendar for 88 years and could be programmed to show reminders on the days the owner chose. In the movie the clock contained an explosive.

For your eyes only. (nineteen eighty one)

- Only for your eyes (E)
- 007: Only for your eyes (H)

Watches:
Seiko Alarm Chronograph duo-display WHV005 / H357-5040

Seiko wanted to show a more elegant watch and in this movie Bond presented this ana-digi (or mixed) that had something back, because the analog part stood out on the set. In the movie, the digital screen was used by "Q" to communicate with 007.

Seiko Professional Diver´s 600m wristwatch S60583 7549-7009

This diver of quartz with box Tuna of Seiko only appears momentarily in the wrist of Bond / Roger Moore and it is a pity, because it was the most faithful to the tradition of the character that Seiko contributed.

Octopussy (1983)

- Octopussy (E)
- 007: Octopussy: 007 against mortal girls (H)

Watches :
Seiko Sports 100 pseudo-analogue wristwatch WLK005 / G757-5020

I think this Seiko is the ugliest watch James Bond / 007 has ever worn in any of his films. On this occasion, "Q" had tricked him as a signal transmitter.

Seiko TV Watch.

Contrary to what many people believe, this device was not an invention of "Q" but actually existed. What is not appreciated in the film was that to watch TV, you had to connect the clock to a receiver the size of a book, which also hung headphones. He did not have much commercial success, but he entered the Guinnes book as the smallest television in history.

Never Say Never Again. (1983)

- Never say never (E)
- Never say never (H)

1983

Watches:
Orfina Military Mark II

In this film, which is not the work of EON Productions, the already tall Sean Connery returned to the paper with a military-style watch but of earth, which contrasted with the marine-type watches he had always worn.

A View to a Kill. 1985

- Panorama to kill (E)
- 007: In the sights of the Assassins (H)

Watches:
Seiko Quartz Chronograpth SPR007

Seiko returns (in purity, she had never left for EON Productions). in this case with a quartz chronograph, but with more packaging than what the character had previously been supplying. This model looks at the initial scene of the submarine-

Seiko Diver's 150 Duo-Display.

A diver of quartz with ana-digi- Lo was carrying Roger Moore and his double when they climb the stairs of the Eiffel Tower.

Seiko 6923-8080 SPD09

Today it might seem unthinkable for James Bond to wear a quartz watch of these characteristics and style, but at the time he was a guy who sold millions for the gentlemen with the Japanese brands.
I wonder if at this time, Citizen, Seiko's arch rival, also failed to provide a clock for Bond.

 The Living Daylights (1987)

- High voltage (E)
- 007: His name is danger (H)

Watches:

Tag Heuer Proffesional Night-Dive 980.031
A diver of the Heuer brand (and so it appeared on the dial) but when it had already been absorbed by TAG to create TAG Heur. It is a powerful quartz with a luminous dial and was worn by the new Bond, Timothy Dalton who insisted on giving a change to the franchise and interpreting a Bond that was harder and more faithful to the original.

License to Kill. (1989)

- License to kill (E)
- 007: License to kill (H)

Watches:

Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual Date 16610

Rolex returns with its classic black and mechanical Submariner in all its showiness and with its characteristic cyclops to magnify the datario. A 40mm watch that picked up the spirit of 6538.

GoldenEye (nineteen ninety five)

- GoldenEye (E)
- GoldenEye: The Return of Agent 007 (H)

Watches:

Omega Seamaster 2541.80

This was the first time Omega entered the franchise and did it with the doll Pierce Brosnan, an actor who many praised his facial gesture and criticized his poor physical strength. The case is that it was chosen, I suppose it was the idea of Omega, a blue diver watch of ... quartz. This he did in an era where mechanical watches had already regained their position as luxury watches. Perhaps the quartz, due to its resistance, is more suitable for the trots it had to carry with Bond, but it was something very criticized at the time and Omega took note. At least, the clock was "tricked" with a laser from the bezel and a mine detonator.

Tomorrow Never Dies. (1997)

- Tomorrow never dies (E)
- 007: Tomorrow never dies (H)

Watches:

Omega Seamaster 2531.80

Now, Omega takes a blunt blow with this mechanical Omega Seamaster 2531.80. For the followers of the brand it was a pride and for the followers of Rolex, a usurpation; For those who simply like watches, it is a relief to see that Bond has a watch that lives up to the character. Note: The vast majority of Bond watches are great, I let the reader decide which ones were not up to par.

The World Is Not Enough. (1999)

- The world is never enough (E)
- 007: The World is not enough (H)

Watches:

Omega Seamaster 2531.80

In this movie, the Omega contained a harpoon with a steel cable. Obviously it is not in the factory model.

"The world is not enough" frame. EON Productions.

 Die Another Day. (2002)

- Die another day (E)
- 007: Another day to die (H)

Watches:

Omega Seamaster 2531.80

Here the Omega carries a laser from the bezel and an explosive charge that is operated with the helium valve.

Royal Casino. (2006)

- Casino Royale (E)
- 007: Casino Royale (V) (M)

Watches:

Omega 2005 Seamaster Planet Ocean 2900.50.91

First film of the franchise Mr. Daniel Craig, an actor who was criticized for being the first blonde James Bond, but who won the audience by interpreting a Bond much more physical than usual. The Planet Ocean, a mechanic, sports on the beach scene. Note: Ian Fleming described in the novel "Casino Royale" Bond as dark, blue-eyed and similar to singer Hoagy Carmichael, but with a more cruel expression.

Omega Seamaster Professional 300 m

Bond sports this Omega when he plays Poker (in the novel it was Baccarat) in the casino.

Quantum of Solace (2008)

- Quantum of Solace (E)
- 007: Quantum (V) (M)

Watches:

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial (Reference 2201.50)

With 42 mm, a measure that always looks elegant, Bond this time chose a black dial for his diver.

Skyfall. (2012)

- Skyfall (E) (V)
- 007: Operation SkyFall (H)

Watches:

Omega 2012 Seamaster Planet Ocean Titanium

This watch is a special edition for the film made of titanium when the normal model uses steel. With 42 mm, mount an OMEGA 8500 Co-Axial caliber.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra

In the quietest moments, Daniel Craig (Bond) wears this blue model that also works with the OMEGA 8500 Co-Axial caliber .

Specter. (2015)

- Specter: 007 (E) (V)
- 007: Specter (H)

Watches:

Omega Seamaster 300 Limited Edition

It is based on the 1957 Omega diver, has 41 mm and mounts the OMEGA 8400 Co-Axial caliber, which is advertised as resistant to 15,000 gauss magnetic fields. On this occasion, the properly manipulated Seamaster puts its indexes in red and that indicates that a countdown has been activated for the clock to explode.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Ref. 231.10.42.221.03.001

You saw Bond on the Day of the Dead scene in Mexico, in my opinion, the best movie scene. It measures 38.5 mm and mounts the OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 8500 caliber.

Omega ST.101.010

It barely glimpses in the scene of the film, but this 1965 Omega chronograph marries well with the vintage Aston Martin driving Bond.

No Time to Die (2020)

- No time to die (E)
- 007: No time to die (H)

Watches:

Omega Seamaster 300 M 007 Edition.

Again an Omega, this time of titanium, Milanese included and 42 mm. The dial is tropical brown.

Notes:
(E) Title given in Spain
(H) Title given in Latin America
(M) Title given in Mexico.
(V) Title given in Venezuela

Note 2: There is a 1954 telefim entitled "Casino Royal", but I have not found information on what watch the actor Barry Nelson wore in that play.
